On 29 and 30 September 2026, the international aviation community will gather for the Global Aviation Conference at the Frankfurt Marriott Hotel.
TestSolutions will have a booth in the exhibitor area and looks forward to engaging with airline and aviation executives at the intersection of business and IT.
We’ll be focusing on four closely related topics:
Airline Retailing
Test Data Management with a Focus on PNR
Global Test Factory
AI-Augmented Test Automation
A highlight of the program is the appearance of Florian Fieber, Chief Process Officer at TestSolutions.
On the first day of the conference, he will join representatives from Qatar, Pegasus, and United, among others, in Panel 2 to discuss:
Digitalization and AI in Airline Operations: From Data Foundations to Real-world ROI
The panel will take place on September 29, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p. m. The topic addresses a question currently on the minds of many airlines: How can data and artificial intelligence be integrated into operational processes in a way that yields measurable benefits—and what prerequisites are needed for this in terms of processes, systems, and quality assurance?
Agenda for the Global Aviation Conference
Airline retailing is transforming how offers are created, sold, and processed after booking. Dynamic offers, new order models, and more tightly integrated partner processes must work in tandem with existing core systems and established workflows.
For quality assurance, this means that testing must not be limited to a single application. It is crucial to take a holistic view of the customer journey—from the quote through booking and payment to changes, services, and fulfillment. This also includes interfaces, partner connections, and the transitions between new retailing components and legacy systems.
Realistic test data is an essential prerequisite for robust scenarios. Especially in PNR-related tests, it is necessary to model different travelers, booking configurations, services, changes, and process states.
At the same time, test data must not pose a risk to data protection or governance. The discussion will therefore address how PNR test data can be efficiently generated, anonymized or masked, reused, and made available for different test phases. The goal is to create a database that allows teams to conduct realistic testing without losing control over data protection requirements and data quality.
We’ll also present our in-house solution for managing and deploying PNR test data.
Schedule a demo:
International airline system landscapes require testing capabilities that can scale beyond individual projects and locations. A Global Test Factory can serve as an organizational and methodological framework to connect teams, processes, tools, and quality standards across countries and time zones.
This is not just about additional capacity. Equally important are clear responsibilities, standardized procedures, transparent results, and the ability to flexibly adapt testing services to releases, migrations, and transformation programs.
Artificial intelligence is also transforming test automation. Among other things, it can help teams derive test cases, generate test data and variants, detect changes in applications more quickly, and simplify the maintenance of automated tests.
From our perspective, however, AI-augmented test automation does not replace professional responsibility. In the aviation industry in particular, it is crucial to assess risks correctly, contribute domain knowledge, and validate results in a traceable manner. The added value arises where AI meaningfully complements the work of test and domain experts, giving them more time to address complex quality issues.
Visit us at our booth and talk to us about your current challenges in airline retailing, test data, global test structures, and AI-powered test automation.
On the first day of the conference, TestSolutions is also hosting a cocktail party from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
We look forward to conversations in a relaxed atmosphere—and to discussing how airlines can support their change initiatives with robust quality assurance.
See you in Frankfurt.
