ISTQB
Certified Tester
Testing with GenAI
In the ISTQB certification seminar "Certified Tester - Testing with Generative AI (CT-GenAI)" you will acquire a basic understanding of the use of generative artificial intelligence in software testing. You will learn how GenAI systems can be tested - and how generative AI can be used specifically to support and automate testing activities.
Certification according to the international standard of the ISTQB
The ISTQB's Certified Tester Scheme is the globally recognized standard for the training and further education of software testers. The new specialization "Testing with Generative AI (CT-GenAI)" is aimed at experts who want to use generative AI (e.g. large language models such as ChatGPT) in software testing or test corresponding systems.
The focus is on topics such as prompt engineering, automated test case generation, test automation with generative AI, dealing with risks such as hallucinations and bias as well as modern concepts such as LLMOps, retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and the use of LLM-based agents in the test process.
Participants will gain a sound understanding of the practical use of generative AI in the testing process - as well as its potential, limitations and challenges in an organizational context.
