Graduating class Kigali: 30 new ISTQB certifications

30 young IT graduates have successfully completed TestSolutions Rwanda's six-month training program and received the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification. This is a real milestone for our team in Kigali.

The program was carried out together with local partner The Gym and was geared towards real project requirements from the outset - particularly in quality-critical areas such as aviation IT and complex enterprise systems. Anyone working in this environment needs more than just basic knowledge: Test depth, traceability and an understanding of regulatory requirements are all part of it. This is exactly what the training focused on.

The certificate ceremony in Kacyiru brought together around 60 guests from the worlds of business, politics and technology. Among them: Yves Iradukunda, Permanent Secretary in the Rwandan Ministry of Innovation and ICT, as well as representatives of the Rwanda Software Testing Qualification Board - a clear sign that certified software quality is taken seriously in Rwanda.

Particularly pleasing: ten graduates have directly taken up full-time positions at TestSolutions Rwanda, while others have joined ongoing customer projects via internships. The program is to be further expanded in the coming years.
