For many of our subsidiary TestSolutions Rwanda Ltd. it was their first trip to Europe - and it was straight into the world of international aviation. Find out what the Rwandan TestSolutions team experienced in Frankfurt and on the other stops along the way and how Managing Director Isabelle Bucyeyeneza assesses the trip.
Part of our Rwandan team made their way to Frankfurt in June - for many of them their first trip to Europe. Led by the Managing Director of TestSolutions Rwanda Ltd, Isabelle Bucyeyeneza(LinkedIn), our colleagues first traveled to the metropolis on the Main, where they were welcomed by the TestSolutions team. Over the next few days, they not only visited our own headquarters "on the Zeil", but also the Lufthansa Aviation Center (LAC), the Lufthansa Group's headquarters at Frankfurt Airport.
The trip was characterized by personal exchange and learning about complexairline topics. In addition to our expertise in software testing, industry knowledge is of enormousimportance when it comes to implementing Europe's largest airline projects in joint teams.
The business trip also took our colleagues to Budapest and Zurich, two other central IT locations of the Lufthansa Group. Workshops, training sessions and an intensive exchange of knowledge were on the agenda. The focus was on the practical development and consolidation of highly technical know-how.
Isabelle Bucyeyeneza draws an extremely positive conclusion from the trip:
"The time we were able to spend together with our partners and colleagues in June was extremely instructive. Not only what we were able to learn in the workshops and guided training sessions, but also everything that happened around us is a wealth of experience that we will benefit from for a long time to come. Industry insights and a personal exchange with the projects and our colleagues are both immensely important."
After intensive and insightful weeks, it was back to the Rwandan capital Kigali, where the newly acquired knowledge is now being put into practice and further developed. The trip was not only an opportunity for further professional training, but also a sign of the growing partnership and integration of the Rwandan team into the IT projects of European airlines.
