API Tester (m/f/d)

We are always looking for committed API testers (m/f/d) who would like to enrich our team with their know-how.
Your tasks
- Planning, creation and execution of API tests for REST and SOAP interfaces.
- Test automation of API tests with tools such as Postman, Insomnia or Karate.
- Validation of API functionality, performance and security.
- Troubleshooting and analysis of API requests and responses.
- Checking and ensuring API quality in CI/CD pipelines.
- Creating test cases and test scripts to automate API tests.
- Documentation and reporting of test results with recommendations for developers.
- Working with developers, QA teams and DevOps to ensure high API quality.
Your profile
- Experience with API testing and common API testing tools (e.g. Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, Karate, Insomnia).
- Knowledge of HTTP protocols, JSON, XML, OAuth, JWT and API security aspects.
- Experience with scripting/programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript or Python for test automation.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of API testing in DevOps environments.
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and API mocking tools is an advantage.
- Confident handling of Microsoft 365, Teams and Confluence.
- Analytical thinking, structured and accurate way of working.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills.
